Description

• Locate the puncture: Weldtite Self Seal Patch kit, first, you need to find the puncture on your bicycle’s inner tube. You can do this by inflating the tube slightly and listening for a hissing sound or by submerging it in water and looking for bubbles.
• Prepare the area: Once you’ve found the puncture, you should clean and dry the area around it. You can use sandpaper or an abrasive tool provided in the patch kit to roughen up the surface slightly.
• Apply the patch: Peel off the backing from one of the self-sealing patches and place it over the puncture, ensuring it covers the hole completely. Press down firmly to ensure a good seal.
• Press and hold: After applying the patch, press and hold it in place for a minute or so to allow the adhesive to bond securely to the tube.
• Check for leaks: Inflate the tube and check for any additional leaks. If you notice any, repeat the patching process with another patch.
• Trim excess: Once the Weldtite Self Seal Patch has fully adhered and the tube is holding air, you can trim any excess patch material with scissors if necessary.
