Description
- Secure Your Bicycle: Cyclo Shimano UG Freewheel Remover ensure your bicycle is stable and supported. Use a bike stand or flip it upside down.
- Remove the Rear Wheel: If needed, take off the rear wheel from your bike.
- Locate the Uniglide Freewheel: Find the Uniglide freewheel on the rear wheel hub. It allows the rear wheel to spin freely in one direction while engaging the drivetrain in the other.
- Insert the Shimano UG Freewheel Remover Tool: Place the Cyclo Shimano UG Freewheel Remover tool into the freewheel’s splines or notches. Make sure it fits snugly and engages properly.
- Unscrew the Freewheel: Use a wrench or ratchet handle to turn the freewheel remover tool counterclockwise (lefty loosey). Expect resistance; you might need to apply some force.
- Hand Removal of the Freewheel: Once it’s fully loosened, unscrew the freewheel by hand and remove it from the hub.
